Since its inception in 1981, the volunteer Chamber has grown immensely and stands today as an integral part of commerce, networking and community involvement on Grand Bahama Island. As stated by the Chamber, their mission is to provide the network, to sustain, promote and support business development in an effort to encourage growth and expansion in the Grand Bahama economy and within a healthy and clean community environment.
The Installation Ceremony for the newly appointed Directors took place this past Friday at the Grand Lucayan Resort. Deputy Prime Minster and Minister of Finance K. Peter Turnquest and Senator The Hon. Kwasi Thompson Minister of State for Grand Bahama addressed attendees on behalf of the Prime Minister, applauding the Chamber for their important work spanning more than 3 decades.
We extend our warmest congratulations to our colleague and friend Fiona Daniels and to all the newly appointed Officers and Directors of the Chamber. We wish you much success and prosperity in 2018, and thank you for your community service!
