The Okyanos Center for Regenerative Medicine is located in the city of Freeport on Grand Bahama Island, 60 miles from the US coast of Florida. Our team is dedicated to ensuring a positive experience both while you enjoy the island and while under our care.

The official language of The Bahamas is English, and the currency used is the Bahamian dollar which is equal to one US dollar. As a result of this fixed exchange rate, US dollars are widely accepted on the Island.

Along with tranquil beaches and crystal blue waters, Grand Bahama island features an all-inclusive resort and golf course. The Port Lucaya Marketplace offers dining, entertainment, and duty-free shopping. To explore some of the restaurants and hotels near the Okyanos facility please visit our Restaurant and Accommodations page.

Our Patient Concierges are committed to the ease and comfort of your travel to The Bahamas. We are pleased to offer our patients complimentary accommodations at Lighthouse Pointe at the Grand Lucayan Resort or at Dolphin Cove. Small boutique hotels and private villas are also available for your stay. For patients wishing to extend their stays, our Concierges can assist with the details. Ground transportation to and from the airport, your hotel, to Okyanos and other facilities is provided during your time on the Island.

Our dedicated travel agents at CrissCross Tours & Travel, Inc., are available to assist with additional travel needs.
