This depends upon the collaborative partnership of our referring physicians and our patient registry.
Patient Screening
Patients who are referred to Okyanos Heart Institute are rigorously screened to determine their candidacy for cell therapy. Our medical team works closely with the referring physician both pre- and post-treatment. We are committed to the construct of a detailed registry that tracks outcomes, and clinical factors over time as the field of cell therapy matures. We consider this a partnership with the medical science community at large.

Patient Registry
To support the critical research function of Okyanos, we seek your ongoing partnership with our on-line patient registry. The objective of the registry is to capture key longitudinal data (e.g., echocardiography, stress test) post-treatment. Your participation in the registry will assist in the further progress of cardiac cell therapy and without doubt improve the quality of life for future patients suffering with heart failure.
